Auburn University BSCI Service Project

The project proposed is to build a 8' by 12' shed to be used by Alabama Rural Ministry on the property of First United Methodist Church of Tuskegee. This building will house equipment for projects and store other tools and materials, keeping them out of the elements. The building is to be built on site, on top of a pre-existing slab in the courtyard of the church, as shown in the preconstruction photos. The project should take roughly 30 hours of crew work time and will be performed over the period of 4 Friday’s and other additional time spent on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. The overall goal is to provide a structure to house Alabama Rural Ministries’ equipment in a locked and safe manner, out of the elements, and easily accessible for its volunteers and staff to use what is housed there.
